The last five years have certainly been difficult for Lords of Acid, wrought with tour postponements and lineup difficulties. Nevertheless, the band has pushed forward and is now making a strong showing for 2025 and beyond. Now armed with the vicious and vivacious vocals of Carla Harvey, the masters of sextreme disco took to North American roads for the Praise the Lords Tour, bringing along Little Miss Nasty and KMFDM’s Lucia Cifarelli, with DJ sets provided by alleykat and Xris Smack!. ReGen was fortunate enough to catch the tour at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC on a hot and wet Saturday night… what could be more appropriate?
Last Thursday night, XL Live transformed into a full-blown acid-fueled ritual as Lords of Acid brought their sexually charged industrial chaos to the capital city. Fronted by the fierce and fearless Carla Harvey, the band lit up the room with pounding bass, explicit anthems, and unapologetic sexual energy. But, the chaos started well before the headliners—it was a full evening of dark, provocative performance art.
alleykat opened the night with a high-voltage DJ set that set the pulse and tone for what was to come. Lucia Cifarelli (of KMFDM) delivered a fierce solo set dripping with attitude and industrial edge while Xris SMack kept the vibe gritty and grinding. Little Miss Nasty‘s seductive, in-your-face choreography gave the crowd whiplash in the best way possible.
There are many things to do on a warm Thursday evening in June, but I decided to take a drive down to Harrisburg, PA to catch the Lords of Acid at Venue XL Live.
I had never been to venue XL Live before, so I did not know what to expect. However, after gathering up my gear and heading towards the venue, I saw a sea of vinyl, cat suits, colorful club attire, and leather, so I knew I was in the right place.
Immediately after getting my pass and heading to the stage floor, the show kicked off with the opener, alleykat. She set the tone for the evening, decked out in a vinyl nun costume with devil horns, she fit right in with the evening’s lineup. I enjoyed her blend of progressive house and melodic techno. She played a thirty-minute set that got the early crowd revved up and ready to dance.
The iconic techno, industrial group Lords of Acid infiltrated a sold out Bottom Lounge in Chicago, IL on Saturday night in front of a raucous crowd. The “Praise The Lords” tour has been expression of one’s true self, an embodiment of sexual freedom and a sensory overload from the provocative performances and industrial beats.
alleykat & Xris Smack set the tone for the night with their body moving DJ sets. The sultry Lucia Cifarelli (KMFDM) took the stage for her first show of the tour. She strutted across the stage with her mesmerizing presence. Lucia’s set was a mixture of electronic melodies and industrial undertones that set up the ambiance of the evening.

It was a cold rainy evening when I got to the Oriental Theater but didn’t stop people from lining up outside.
Supporting acts alleykat and Little Miss Nasty set the tone for the night with high-energy, aggressive performances that primed the crowd for the techno-industrial chaos to follow.
The evening ignited with alleykat’s pulsing set, an electrifying fusion of hypnotic trance, driving techno, and high-octane dance tracks. The bass rumbled through the floor, syncing heartbeat to rhythm, while waves of neon light bathed the crowd in a feverish glow. Her seamless transitions and instinctive command of the decks kept bodies in perpetual motion, each drop tightening the grip of the night’s spell. By the time the last track pulsed through the speakers, the venue had fully transformed—charged, restless, ready for the next act to take it further.

Seattle (May 30, 2025) – Lords of Acid brought their Praise The Lords tour to a packed El Corazon Friday night, delivering an electrifying performance that was equal parts spectacle and sonic mayhem. Supporting acts alleykat and Little Miss Nasty set the tone for the night with high energy, unapologetic performances that primed the crowd for the techno-industrial chaos to follow.
The evening opened with a pulsing DJ set from alleykat, whose seamless mix of hypnotic trance, driving techno and high-octane dance tracks transformed the venue into a neon-lit rave. Her command of the decks and intuitive flow kept the audience in constant motion, setting a thumping foundation for the rest of the night.
Let me just say before I get into the review of the show that last Friday night was a blast! All three artists were amazing and the crowd was filled with fans, media, and friends. I sorely needed a "let loose" show after the past week/months I’ve had as of late and this gig did not disappoint. I felt infinitely better after the show and as luck would have it, things in my professional life (aka day job) took a turn for the better over last weekend to boot. See? Go to a live show and watch things turn out for the better. In any event, all is good in the land of Eclectic Arts Media I’m happy to report.
My live introduction to Little Miss Nasty was via the Lords Of Acid tour in 2019. So, I will always associate the two acts together just due to that fact alone. I’m developing a bit of a history with Little Miss Nasty. The aforementioned show in 2019, the livestream in 2020 to promote the m/v, “Hungry”, interview and full coverage of their headlining show in 2023, a missed opportunity in 2024 due to my back issues (aargh), and now in 2025 a new audio interview and this here review.
On May 27 2025 I headed down to San Francisco California to the DNA Lounge. The event that evening was the first Lords of Acid show with new to the band, Carla Harvey. Supporting them on this tour was alleykat and Little Miss Nasty.
alleykat was up first. She is a DJ and did a 45 minute set to ramp up the crowd and boy did she.
Just Press Play is the brand new album from alleykat, a writer and producer who hails from Newport Beach in California, and who has been working in the music industry since 2006.
Overall, the alleykat – Just Press Play album is steeped in high-energy underground rave vibes, bringing elements of Trance and Techno music into one infectious combination. Tracks are based around pulsating rhythms, driving basslines, and euphoric synth work, capturing the true spirit of underground raves while also maintaining a distinct sense of artistic identity. The artist’s production style brings both a polished and a raw edge to bear on her music, giving the album hints of nuance and subtlety that shows just how much she has grown since the release of her last album. One of the most accomplished tracks on the release in this regard is Ascend, which not only acts as the album’s opener but also its lead single. Blending hypnotic build-ups with explosive drops, this track comes into its own as soon as you press play, its pulsing rhythms and deep basslines acting as the perfect foundation for the intricate synth work.
The biggest and kinkiest party in Dallas took place last Saturday as the Dallas Fetish Ball celebrated its 25th anniversary at a sold-out Longhorn Ballroom.
Since its humble beginnings at the Dallas club The Church, the Fetish Ball continues to grow and expand into ever-larger venues. Who knew there were so many freaky people out there?
alleykat's new album, “Existence,” dives deep into the human soul, mapping out the highs and lows we all face. Right from the start, the album grabs you with its lively beats and cheerful tunes, reflecting alleykat’s joy and newfound freedom from her past struggles with depression. It feels like a burst of fresh air, full of energy and new possibilities.
But as the album moves forward, the tone shifts. The music becomes more reflective, echoing alleykat’s own introspective journey. Even though she’s overcome her depression, she’s now wrestling with big questions about life and her place in it. The beats slow down, and the melodies stretch out, giving us space to think and feel along with her.
Prepare-se para uma noite inesquecível em Las Vegas! A renomada gravadora brasileira G-Mafia Records está chegando na cidade do pecado com uma festa exclusiva de lançamento do álbum “State Of Mind” de alleykat.
The Fetish Ball took place on Saturday at the legendary Longhorn Ballroom. We were expecting plenty of bondage, leather and latex, but a lubing station was not on that list. But, then, how else was everyone supposed to keep their latex outfits gleaming throughout the night?
As they entered, guests were greeted by a photo booth — presumably to take "before" photos commemorating the wild night. Immediately after that they found a Wheel of Pain "side show." Participants could spin a giant wheel with prompts that would make Bob Barker blush, with categories such as "Spanking," "Hot Wax" "Clothes Pins" and "Mistress Choice," a wild card of pain/pleasure.
A crowd stood in awe watching consensual play out in the open: lots of nipple pulling with chains, hitting with whips and riding crops and using sex toys on whomever took the stage to give the wheel a spin. Toward the back, there was lots more to explore; vendors displayed a variety of wares: art, harnesses, sex toys, latex accessories, stickers, leather gear, jewelry — something for every level of kink aficionado.
